Welcome to the USS Meridian!
The early years of the newly formed United Federation of Planets. The founding members, United Earth, Vulcan, Andor, Tellar, and Alpha Centauri lead the way for the new members: Confederated Martian Colonies, Alpha III, Vega IX, Denobula, Benzar, United Rigel Worlds and Colonies, Arken II, Orodanga and Bolarus IX who are finding their place and standing in the Federation.
The USS Meridian, a Columbia class starship, leads the way in exploration as Starfleet pushes out further among the stars to find new worlds and hopefully expand.
But all is not completely peaceful. The Klingon Empire has concerns of the Federation which they have already determined to be a major force and threat which continues to get stronger with each new world joining. There are also the threats of piracy as civilian ships continue to push out further for trade and science expeditions.
Come join the crew of the Meridian as we explore, practice diplomacy, take on old and new threats to the United Federation of Planets, including threats from within.

Mine Operations Chief Rourke Tomas stared at the data that was coming through. The worse of the explosion had been contained, but there still were far from being in the clear. But how could he prevent another issue without knowing what the problem was to begin with. Not to mention Starfleet had shown up to keep an eye on his every move. Yes, Rourke had to admit that they could seriously use all the help that they could receive. But there was going to questions on who was to blame for this catastrophe and that target was going to be…

Posted on Sat Oct 24th, 2026 @ 9:33am by Ensign Emily Douglasdale & Lieutenant T’Lanna
Ensign Douglasdale had returned back to the Meridian to pick up additional personnel and supplies to bring down to the surface. In the briefing they were warned that things were bad but seeing it in person was different. And she technically didn't even see the worse of it. Just glimpses during the brief transport and then back to the shuttle. The Captain had requested that Lieutenant T'Lanna join the away team on the surface. The huge, designated area that cordon off for emergency medical services was busy with medical staff bringing people in and providing various forms of treatment. Ambulances pulled in and out in heavy rotation, but there still didn't seem like enough people on staff for coming. Doctor Liana Chen rested her tired head in the palms of her hand. It was now thirty-six hours and she was feeling every bit of the time spent out here. Not only was this physically draining, but mentally as well. Reaching over at grabbing the cup of coffee, Liana took a big gulp as she…

T’Lanna sat alone simply observing the crew as they came and went, she politely ate her Vulcan salad as she read the PaDD she’d bought with her.
Walking into the room, he walked up to the replicator ordered a simple tray of steak and eggs. As he scanned the room, his glance took notice of a sole vulcan in the room. This wasn't unexpected, there was some visitors that were coming onboard, but who that vulcan was.
Last time on Shore leave, even though he stated, that he wasn't going to the planet, he secretly did. Even though it was…

Mission: Ashes of Vega Colony
Posted on Sun Oct 18th, 2026 @ 8:21pm by Commander Thomas Carey & Captain Andre Hunt
Jonas Creed marched towards the perimeter of the scene with Commander Carey alongside. The last thing he needed was Starfleet babysitting him and telling him how to run an investigation. Protesters could were outside the perimeter large numbers shouting and holding up signs. This wasn't anything new, but the numbers were a lot larger than usual. Which didn't surprise him considering their main complaint had just taken place. Walking over this his security staff, he pointed at the protesters. "Make sure than stand clear of that line taping off the area. Last thing I need is those idiots getting in…
